Door 4: "Because every event tells a story - we create unforgettable memories."
2003 was a year that impressively demonstrated how borderless networking can be - not only geographically, but also emotionally. The fourth door of our Advent calendar hides a special memory: a workshop in Munich where we were able to present the partners of the Convention Bureau Slovenia to an exclusive circle of event professionals.
A story of encounters and cooperation
At the time, Slovenia was a rather unknown destination for many in the MICE industry. Together with the Convention Bureau Slovenia, we set ourselves the goal of bringing this exciting country and its extraordinary opportunities for meetings, incentives, congresses and events to life.
With heart and passion, we organized a workshop in Munich where event planners had the chance to get to know Slovenia and its partners in a very personal way. The aim was not just to provide information, but to create real connections - encounters that will be remembered and tell stories.
Unlimited networking - then and now
The special thing about this collaboration was that it did not end with an event. It laid the foundation for a partnership that continues to this day. In the coming year, 2025, we will have the honor of working with the partners of the Convention Bureau Slovenia again. From 18 to 20 February, we are inviting event professionals to Conventa in Ljubljana - another chapter in a long-standing history characterized by trust and common goals.
What this experience means to me
This workshop in Munich showed me once again how much fun it is to write new stories and connect people - across geographical borders and often over many years. The heart of Illerhaus Marketing beats for such unforgettable encounters, which enrich not only professionally but also personally.
Slovenia: a small country with great appeal
Slovenia impresses with its diversity, warmth and creativity - qualities that make it a special destination. The country tells a story that has inspired many event planners and continues to do so. It fills me with pride to be part of this story and to continue writing it through our collaboration.
