Starnberg, October 30, 2025 - Personal encounters are the key to successful collaboration - this was impressively demonstrated at ILLERHAUS Marketing's latest MICE networking events. Both at Ammersee and in Leipzig, trade visitors, event planners and a large number of exhibitors came together for two inspiring evenings that brought the MICE community closer together and provided new impetus for the industry.
MICE Branchentreff Ammersee: Exceptional atmosphere on the RMS HERRSCHING
Applause at the MICE Branchentreff LeipzigOn 9 October, ILLERHAUS Marketing hosted the MICE Branchentreff Ammersee at the RMS HERRSCHING - just a few kilometers away from the home of organizer Susanne Illerhaus. Numerous participants and exhibitors took advantage of the special atmosphere, the view of the lake and the personal atmosphere to strengthen contacts, forge new partnerships and discuss trends in the industry.
The atmosphere on board was extraordinary: intense conversations and genuine enthusiasm everywhere. "When I said goodbye to all the event professionals, I looked into such wonderful smiling faces," says Susanne Illerhaus. "It was amazing to see how supposed 'strangers' develop a bond. That's what drives us."
The speaker also contributed to the inspiring impulses: Uwe Steinweh (coach, speaker & networker) delighted the audience with three presentations on networking and provided humorous "aha" moments.
MICE Branchentreff Leipzig: Networking in the Sky Lounge
Just two weeks later, on October 23, the MICE Branchentreff Leipzig celebrated its successful premiere in the Sky Lounge Leipzig. Many used the unusual location to make contacts, discuss business opportunities and exchange views on current industry topics in a relaxed atmosphere.
The atmosphere was once again exceptional: intense discussions, laughter and enthusiasm characterized the evening. Once again, there was not a single no-show, a sign of the high motivation of the participants and the appreciation of the exhibitors.
"Thank you to everyone involved - you made this event so special with your enthusiasm and your interest in people," says Susanne ILLERHAUS.
A highlight of the evening was the appearance of André Lange, the most successful bobsleigh pilot at the Winter Olympics to date. In a short keynote speech, he gave insights into team spirit and leadership according to Olympic values (powered by Sport Speaker).
Networking with foresight - outlook for 2026
The two events impressively demonstrated that personal networking is more relevant than ever - especially at a time when digital formats dominate everyday life.
