Perfect symbiosis of business and feel-good atmosphere for the 15th time

- For many, the MICE industry get-together on Lake Starnberg is a fixed annual date in the event calendar. Doing business at sunset on Lake Starnberg - it could hardly be better. After a three-year break, it was finally time again.

The special thing about this format is obvious: you don't meet in just any location, but on a ship - the MS Starnberg. As soon as we arrived on board, the numerous discussions began. The exchange between planners and agencies with hotels, locations and convention bureaus filled the entire evening. This allowed everyone to concentrate fully on each other. The time was used to learn new things, refresh old contacts and also to make direct inquiries with the providers. And all this while the MS Starnberg sailed across the lake as the sun set. Business could hardly be more beautiful.

The evening kicked off with Dirk Jakob's presentation on this exciting topic: "What lies ahead of us and what lies behind us is nothing compared to what lies within us", powered by Die Athleten and expert agency Andrea Kummer.

Susanne Illerhaus and her team organized this MICE networking event for the 15th time. The event professionals received a lot of positive feedback and are delighted that the concept worked once again.

"We would like to thank you for the great organization, effort, professionalism and simply the great evening! The event was really good for us and the contacts were very interesting." Daniela Dall'Asta, Arabella Alpenhotel am Spitzingsee & Arabella Brauneck Hotel.

"It was super interesting, very communicative and enjoyable. We'd love to do it again." Ulrich Becker, AGENCY BECKER + FRIENDS.

"Many thanks for the wonderful meeting on the high seas. As always, it was very successful." Silke Gabriel, FMS Wertmanagement.

"As always, it was superbly organized and was a great pleasure" Sigrid Smuda-Fröschl, City of Munich.

The joy of setting sail with ILLERHAUS was obvious. Both those who have been with us for years and those for whom it was a first.

The new addition to the ILLERHAUS team was also there for the first time. Theresa Schropp even had her first day at work on this very day. As an intern and, from October, as a student at the International University of Cooperative Education specializing in event, trade fair and congress management, she will be supporting the team alongside Claudia Schwebel and Doreen Feldmann. "A great first day at work," she beamed happily.

Those who don't want to miss the next MICE industry get-together on Lake Starnberg should make a note of July 20, 2023. The ship has already been reserved.

If that takes too long, there are still plenty of opportunities to network with ILLERHAUS in the coming months. For example, on September 22 at the MICE Networking Lounge Regensburg in the Salzstadel. Then you won't be meeting on the water, but next to the Danube. As a former salt transshipment warehouse, this location offers an impressive combination of historical backdrop and discreetly modern interior design.
