Door 1: "Success is the result of valuable encounters - on what connects us."
On December 1, we will open the first door of our digital Christmas calendar and take you on a journey that began over two decades ago.
In the year 2000, I, Susanne Illerhaus (then still using my maiden name Heil), took the plunge into self-employment and founded the company Hotel Sales and Marketing. What began as an ambitious project developed into an affair of the heart that still exists today: Illerhaus Marketing.
People, encounters, connections
From the very beginning, my focus was on one thing: connecting people with each other. Not superficially, but with real passion. The MICE industry thrives on relationships - on trust, understanding and mutual exchange. I dedicated myself to this mission with a lot of heart and a smile, and it still shapes our work today.
Over the years, I have learned that success is not measured by numbers, facts or deals alone. Success is created through valuable encounters - through moments in which people meet at eye level, exchange inspiration and create real connections.
The first door: A thank you to our connections
The motto of today's door is therefore:
"Success is the result of valuable encounters - on what connects us."
It is a reminder of how much power there is in genuine connection. Our events, whether on the MS Starnberg, in exciting cities or at unusual locations, are always designed to promote these connections. They create platforms for exchange, innovation and inspiration.
A look into the future
When I look back on 25 years of Illerhaus Marketing today, I am full of gratitude. For the people who have accompanied us, the networks that have been created and the encounters that make our industry so vibrant. With every event, every encounter and every smile, we look to the future - to what continues to connect and drive us.
A big thank you to everyone who is a part of this journey and is helping to shape it!
I look forward to more valuable encounters - and wish you a wonderful start to the Advent season.
Sincerely,
Your Susanne Illerhaus
