The Fam Trip group with the self-built sledges

Social commitment as part of the Fam Trip

True to Paul Heyse's quote "What has been thought may give food for thought, but only what has been experienced will remain", 14 event planners from all over Germany and Claudia Schwebel from ILLERHAUS Marketing set off on a fam trip to the Parkhotel Wallgau on October 21, 2022.

The aim of this sightseeing tour was to familiarize event & incentive planners with the Parkhotel Wallgau and its surroundings and its MICE possibilities. The Parkhotel Wallgau is a 4* superior hotel in the heart of Wallgau, not far from Lake Walchensee and Karwendel. With its 44 rooms, outstanding gastronomy and exceptional conference facilities, it is the perfect place for meetings, seminars and relaxing days in the countryside. Personal discussions with the hotel director Dennis Wrba and experiencing the hotel were the focus of these two days. But the opportunities for outdoor events and team building were not to be missed on this weekend either, as the Werdenfelser Land region has a lot to offer here.

The professionals from Alpin Conventionyour contact for corporate events and tourism consulting from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, were responsible for this part of the program. Managing Director Corsin Parolini was personally involved in the program on Saturday, which began with a herb discovery tour with herb fairy Ursula and ended with a great sledge-building event against the backdrop of the Karwendel mountains. Eight wooden sledges were assembled by the participants under professional guidance and handed over to Sylvia Bauer, head of the St. Jakob kindergarten in Wallgau, by Corsin Parolini to great applause from all those involved. This fantastic fundraising campaign by Alpin Convention and the Parkhotel Wallgau will enable the children to have great winter fun. Hats off to this social commitment! Keep it up, we are thrilled!
