Walkemühle Estate
Description of the company:
The Walkemühle country estate is located on the edge of the half-timbered town of Frankenberg. It impresses with its combination of historic mill, modern and light-flooded festival barn, alpine hut and courtyard garden as a connecting element. Events for up to 150 people find ideal possibilities here. We currently generate 40% of our electricity from hydropower (mill wheel at the historic mill). In summer 2024 we will complete the installation of the solar system and will then be 100% self-sufficient. Our sister business is the Hotel Die Sonne Frankenberg.
