Congress at the Park Augsburg
Description of the company:
A place of encounter, exchange and inspiration for 50 years.
Built in 1972 and renovated in 2012, the ensemble is regarded by experts as a monument to Brutalism, but its energy efficiency also makes it a monument for the future in the context of climate change, where built architecture serves as a resource for sustainability.
The "Béton brut" is deliberately staged by an award-winning lighting concept, with colorful LED accents and vintage lighting elements. The special feel-good backdrop is based on classics from the 70s such as the seating snake by Verner Panton and annually changing works of art.
3,000 sqm for congresses in a green setting: the congress hall (1,400 p.), the baramundi hall (330 p.), two bright foyers on 1,300 sqm with access to the park and seven conference rooms. The virtual rooms complement the conference technology for digital events.
