Valuable information, good business & useful networking
As CIM (Conference & Incentive Management) already reported, the conditions could hardly have been better: Perfect weather, a fully booked ship and a brilliant atmosphere. On July 20, 2023, around 120 event planners and almost 50 exhibitors from all over Germany, Austria and Italy came together at the traditional MICE meeting on Lake Starnberg.
The range of hotels, locations and destinations was huge at the sunset networking event. There was something new for every planner, whether from a company or agency. At the same time, existing contacts were refreshed.
"I can see that this meeting was the start of many business relationships. Exhibitors and event professionals can integrate inspiring tips and a wealth of news into their event planning," said a delighted Susanne Illerhaus after the event. "The response on both sides is simply fantastic!".
This also shows that ILLERHAUS is offering the right format at the right time. And that after more than 20 years.
"When I was Sales Director at Holiday Inn in the 90s, I would have loved to have a format like this," smiles Susanne Illerhaus, beaming. "Unfortunately, it didn't exist at the time." When she set up her own business shortly afterwards, her networking events were born. A platform where exhibitors and event planners can exchange ideas intensively and where there is time to talk and build a basis of trust.
This has not changed over the years, on the contrary - perhaps the personal exchange has recently become even more important. As a hotelier, Susanne Illerhaus would still like to see exactly this format.

ILLERHAUS also brought a handful of students from CAMPUS M UNIVERSITY on board as future event managers. "Our students were very enthusiastic about the evening and only gave positive feedback, " says Lilly Hennersberger from the university, which offers a practical event management course.
The next ILLERHAUS Marketing networking events will take place in Düsseldorf and Kufstein. First, suppliers and planners will meet on October 19 on board the MS Rhein Galaxie in Düsseldorf. The evening event will be preceded by a visit to TOP GOLF Oberhausen, which is ideal for corporate events. And after the MICE Branchentreff Düsseldorf, it's on to the Fam Trip, which was organized in cooperation with the Düsseldorf Convention Bureau.
On November 30, the new location Skybar Panorama 1830 in Kufstein, Austria , will play host. Here, too, trade visitors can experience the MICE possibilities of the town on the green Inn River during the subsequent Fam Trip .
The TUI Cruises Fam Trip on Mein Schiff 1 in September is already fully booked.
