Be there when we present the new MeinSchiff 7 and the Hotel Reichshof in Hamburg for the first time from October 1 to 2, 2024.

The foundation stone for the Reichshof building complex was laid in 1906. The site was still undeveloped and the main railway station opposite had just been built. The founder and builder of the Hotel Reichshof was Anton-Emil Langer (1864-1928), former kitchen director on the ocean liners of the HAPAG shipping company. The family already owned the "Esplanade" hotel and 27 other hotels and guesthouses. The design of the Hotel Reichshof was also influenced by a good friend of Langer's, the shipowner and HAPAG general manager Albert Ballin, who, as the former head of passenger services, brought with him in-depth knowledge of the cruise business. Mein Schiff 7 is a sister ship to Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2, which entered service in 2018 and 2019, and the first of three new ships that will join the Mein Schiff fleet by 2026. On June 22, 2024, Mein Schiff 7 was christened in the Bay of Kiel by godmother Fenia Kalachani. Fenia Kalachani has been Environmental Officer on board the Mein Schiff fleet since 2020 and, together with her colleagues, is responsible for compliance with and implementation of all relevant environmental regulations on board the Mein Schiff fleet.
