ILLERHAUS MICE Networking - From the ship in Hamburg to the summit on Lake Tegernsee

February 1st was the day: event planners met hotels, venues and convention bureaus at the MICE industry get-together on board the MS Princess. Neither the strike by security staff at German airports nor a predicted flood prevented around one hundred networkers from all over Germany and Austria from using the evening to make new contacts for events and meetings.

"What an interactive start to the year," enthuses Susanne Illerhaus from ILLERHAUS Marketing, who organized the event. "Although I was extremely excited after the water police were on board twice due to an impending flood," admits the agency owner.

That was not the only thing that went well. All guests were on board as announced and the lively exchange began even before the welcome. It was immediately apparent that the focus here was on networking. After a warm welcome from Susanne Illerhaus and Karine Serra, Hamburg Convention Bureau, Frank Fuhrmann spoke on the topic of mental hygiene. An exciting presentation that could be put into practice immediately during the subsequent discussions.

Throughout the evening, you could see happy people getting to know each other personally or meeting up again. The evening ended with the obligatory raffle with attractive prizes from exhibitors and ILLERHAUS Marketing. Not only the winners left in a good mood and with many new or re-established contacts.

From the far north, the ILLERHAUS Marketing team returned to the south of Germany. The next networking event is now being eagerly prepared here. This time not near zero above sea level, but at an impressive 1,772 meters above sea level. High above Lake Tegernsee, on the Wallberg, event professionals will meet hotels and venues on March 7, 2024. Business is sure to be done here again in a great atmosphere.
